Feedback welcome. I put a lot of thought into the info about controllers and etc, because that's been blindsiding the newbies all the time. It's a best-effort thing, because so much of it varies from motherboard to motherboard.

I hope the role-play session with the hypothetical newbies isn't excessively corny... I thought all the info needed to be brought down to a real-world example somehow

After dealing with my sister-in-law, I now realize that nothingcan be too simplified or corny. Trying to explain things to people with different levels of expertise at the same time is truly difficult. Thanks for your effort.

Thanks to everyone else for looking and commenting too! I also added just a couple other photos, including one of a video card that uses an auxiliary power cable (link), and one of an A64 properly oriented in its socket (link).
