Is there a way to find out the router IP on a Linksys BEFSX41? Once I get that, I need to know how to by-pass the password to get in.

Please don't think I'm some kind of paranoid hacker lol.

Is there a way for me to do this without resetting the router itself?

Or maybe even a program to find the password so I can just type it in?

No. The IP address will be your default route. Enter a CMD prompt, and type: ipconfig /all to find that.

If you forgot your password, the best advice I can give you is to reset the router.

most linksys routers are default ip of 192.168.1.1 with default username as admin and no password. But if the password was changed the best thing to do is reset the router.
