By 2008, will a viable campaign promise be pulling out of Iraq?

From reading This thread, it seems even some moderate-liberal GOP's are thinking Iraq is a quagmire. And what with the Cindy Sheehan support crowd, we could have a viable platform for a Democratic candidate to run on in 2008. It's hard to tell this soon, but is America honestly getting sick of Iraq?

You broke it...can't leave until it is fixed.

I believe the expression is you broke it, you own it.

We didn't need anyone's permission to invade, so we sure won't need anyone's permission to leave or to define what conditions we need to scale back.

I doubt we'll be in Iraq in 2008, for good or bad. it'll be a major political issue in the 2006 campaign, and because of this, I expect troops to begin returning home before Nov. '06.

Once, I was really drunk & stupid and threw-up all over the place. My friends put me in the car and took me home. Someone who was not as stupid as me cleaned up the mess. Clearly we made the mess and clearly we are much too drunk & stupid to clean it up.

... I was opposed to going in but once we are in there shouldn't we stay? Leaving will just cause chaos and confusion.... Maybe I played a little too much Civ3... but in Civ3, when you finish conquering the enemy city, they will riot and behave badly. Your army needs to stay there a few years for the city to be peacefull again, then it can be productive....
