I am running the above MB with the latest QR bios. I see a maximum multiplier of 9.

Looking at other posts in this forum, some users report using a multiplier of 10 with this board. How is this so?

I'm looking to do a dirt cheap celeron upgrade (900 MHz or more).

No worries, I am running a 1.2Ghz Celeron in it with a multiplier of 12. Of course the BIOS doesn't understand it and reports it as "<12 Mhz". Yet it IS at 1200 Mhz (O/C'd slightly even).

How? Well the Intel multiplier is FIXED. I just set it as "User Define" and the correct FSB.

OK that makes perfect sense.

Does the new 1.2 GHz core need a special slocket adapter or just the regular FC-PPGA type as the Celeron II's?
