haha, might as well get it out of your system, for when Gore pulls it off :).

Hey, I had to say it, though I've been getting this sinking feeling that Bush has it won, seeing as how the redskins lost and jay leno's lotto poll (whichever name was spelled out first by picking the letters) both indicate Bush will win.

Talking with a friend this week about how meaningless our four electoral votes will be in Hawaii. His comment was the networks will be announcing the winner before the polls even close here.

My comment was, if this thing is really close, Hawaii may decide the whole thing. Well, maybe not decide the vote, but the polls would still be open when the rest of the nation is closed.

Unlikely, but possible I suppose.

Come Tuesday night, I'll be too drunk to injure myself, if by some miracle Bush loses. I'm going to spend Monday-Tuesday painting the house and drinking beer. Tuesday, I'll be working inside all day with the TV on so I can stay on top of things.

GRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I guess that means Frasier won't be on :(

Oh well. That way I'll be spending my night at work. That way I can avoid having to listen to Napalm's commentary throughout the evening ;)

Hmmm, does this mean that Russ is the kinda guy that would rub it in? :)

So, how is the Congress shaping up? Just once in fifty years* I'd like to see the GOP in charge of both. Once in fifty years*! Is that so much to ask?

*Don't really know exactly how long it's been, but that's close!

Actually, I think the absolute worse thing that can happen is for either party to control both the Congress and the White House. Then it's too much like local politics and the whole good ole boy mentality takes over, whether it's Republicans or Democrats. :(

It's a whole lot more interesting when they have to debate the issues and defend their positions.

Red, if you will look at Gov. Bush's record in Texas he has shown that he can work with the democrats to do what needs to be done. Gore with his my way or the highway attitude would gridlock necessary legislation.

I'll vote for Gov. Bush.

Red-

Since I KNOW you are going to vote:

<<Why are you arguing with me over this anyway for Etech? I'm not going to vote for either and I doubt anybody here hasn't made up their mind.>>

Thank you for voting for Nader (Bush).

Indeed, it looks like a victory for the Hypocratic party.

I wish people had the guts to vote for a candidate or party that wasn't for sale. Our founding fathers and the great Americans of past would be ashamed for all the Bush and Gore supporters that are cowards IMHO.

I'm just hoping for more gridlock until Americans gain more courage for real change.

Nothing will change until we get good and effective real campaign finance reform. Bush is against it. Gore...well who knows for sure...but he probably wont do anything about it either.

McCain was the man. I'll be voting for Nader to help send a message.

Good, vote for Nader. Im encouraging everyone and not just because it helps Bush but because if the 3rd party doesnt get 5% of the votes they will not get any help money wise next election. I voted for Ross for that reason and dont feel I wasted my vote. This time it is GW all the way.

Anybody see Ross on TV lately. He was on this AM (SUN) endorsing GW but praising Nader.
