Bwahahaha! Something is fuxxored at my ISP

I have a cable ISP here in Mexico and pay for 312 kb/s bandwidth and for the last day I've been getting anywhere from 1 - 3 mb/s. Normally I download at about 38 k/s and I've been downloading from 190 k/s to 375 k/s. I just downloaded an over 600 meg file in 30 minutes and in the last day I've downloaded about 5 gigs of stuff (all legal, mostly demos and UT2k4 mods).

I don't know what my real bandwidth is at right now. So far it seems to be capped at whatever speed I can max download off of a site at. I've tried the speedometer tests and every time I rerun them they just keep getting higher. I wonder when my ISP is going to figure out something is wrong? I wish I could think of other things to download but I don't d/l movies or music.

 for more downloading. 😀

Well, it's back to normal again, at least for the time being. The same thing happened last night but then it skyrocketed again in a little while. We'll see what happens. At least I've already downloaded all the big files I wanted and had been putting off.
