It was the "What if...?" episode, where the computer gives them scenarios on what if questions.

Bender: "What if I was human?" This was humurous, but not the best. Best scene: Bender discovers the antenna that used to be on top of the head has *relocated*, but the reception isn't all that good.

Bender: "Maybe if I wiggle it around..."
Fry: "NO! You'll make God cry"

Fry: "What if life was like video games?" <----so many great references to video games of old that I was laughing for quite a bit (Pacman, Ms Pacman, Invaders, DK, Mario, the AYBABTU game, etc).

Leela: "What if I lived on my home planet?" (or something to that effect)<---great one-liners here

Flying Stupids: "But we thought you were going to make monkey pie!"
Wicked Witch: "By monkeys, I meant ass"

I wish they never cancelled it, they did so before the potential of the series could be realized. It was a great cartoon that managed to have some "geeks only" humor to it

My favorite Futurama episode would have to be a toss-up between the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory parody, and the Christmas special where Bender became the evil robot Santa.
Those grunka lunka songs were fookin hylarious!

That was the first one, then they made another "what if" later on in the series
 
So many great episodes in season 3 to choose from (release the next DVD set already!). My favorites are the one where we first see the Brainspawn (giant floating brains) invade the earth and turn everyone (except Fry) stupid, the one where Fry eats an ancient vending machine sandwich and becomes infected with worms who increase his mental and physical prowess, and the one where Bender becomes the home of a race of tiny aliens who worship him as a god.
