Awesome guy. His wife is awesome, too. People say safest/smartest thing to do is to just give the money, but if everyone fought back there would be less morons trying to rob people.

And good choice on the pepper spray over the pencil :D

If you kicked a robber in the head like that in England you would probably end up in Jail for assaulting them, or even attempted murder... which is totally retarded. I wish the English justice system worked like this.

Now that I've rewatched the video, the owner appears at times to punch the guy in the kidneys. That can do some damage. Bet the punk was hurting today and not just his self-esteem.

No judge in their right mind after seeing that video, would judge against them should they be sued. He did everything he could to protect himself. I loved every second of that video.

oh man, that was great. I like how the robber gets pantsed and the owner is punching his bare ass. Sure hope he washed his hands. Oh, and the wife delivering karate kicks to the face was priceless.

Its too bad Canadian laws may see charges laid against him and his wife. In Canada you are not allowed to defend your property. The only legal argument he has was that he was defending himself against a physical attack but his wife kicking the guy could get them both into trouble. I wouldn't be surprised if he also gets hit with sexual assault charges.

Robbers will likely get a slap on the wrist and the store owners will go to prison.
