Bwah?! XFX 490MHZ core

I have heard horrible things about XFX, but that core, and memory speed, along with a FREE BF2 copy makes it look mighty good. If this had been out, when I got my BFG version, I would have gotten the XFX version instead.

that sure looks sweet, I might have to get me one of those. but I needs to save up lots of money cuz I need a total upgrade...thats suks

What is wrong with XFX? I would get it cause it's the only 7800GTX I know of that can be watercooled. Both the BFG and the EVGA offerings cannot function on low temps due to poor bios settings. So what is wrong with XFX? Cause I just bought one for a system I'm building for my dad.

There is 2 post on this already, why dont you peeps scroll back a few days like most do to try make sure its not been covered in topics, i get fed up with 2x *everypost*

Be careful that since this stuff with the geometry thing that says 470mhz this will go up to 490 if the actual clock speed is 450mhz.

Bollocks to exclusive to this store as you can see it on newegg, and they always put a + next to core as they dont really have a clue what its finally going to be, some of the 6800Ultras on prelaunch said 400-450, just to cover the range that everyone could be.

The card is probably 490mhz on the core in 3D as its on more than 1 site.
