Buzzing noise when rebooting

I have a Gigabyte P965 DS3 with E6600 stock cooler. When I reboot the computer, there is a buzzing coming from the fan while it stops. It happens for one second and then the fan comes on again and the noise is gone. It seems to happen every time I reboot. Any ideas?

I would just chalk it up to being fine, unless this noise was never present and/or is becoming louder/different.

The start/stop double start issue is common with many P965 boards. I also have this double start issue with my Abit P35 board.

Actually, I think this happens even without the fan stopping. Just seems to happen when rebooting. I wouldn't mind so much, but I'm building this computer for somebody else, and he might get annoyed that his brand new $1000+ computer is making that sound. Any idea where it's coming from? The fan is pretty quiet when it's running.

Well, Gigabyte won't respond to me, but I found out what was causing the buzzing noise. In the BIOS, I had the setting on to warn when CPU fan fails. So the buzzing sound was the warning sound. Once I disabled that setting, the sound went away. At least I know it's not some malfunction.

I find that board's BIOS to be complex and a touch buggy. Not sure why the NB runs hotter than many P965 boards. My current Abit IP35-E is much cooler at the same clock speed.
