buying wheels with paypal payment

look in this thread. decided to buy the OZ 18".

but im paying via paypal. i spoke with the guy on the phone and nothing rang the "fraud" bell in my head. the only thing is his number came up as unavailable...but im thinking this is because he is calling me from his work and they normally block caller IDs

anyways, i have emailed him and asked for a number i can reach him....i told him as soon as i get the number, i will paypal him.

am i being too much of an ass?

Pay with a credit card, get all of his information including name, address, phone numbers, etc.

All you can do is check his feedback. If it is a scam, then you wouldn't be able to look it up because both his account are probably fake

Preferably one with good CS - AMEX, Citi, etc.

Pay with major credit card and you should be protected.

1) Pay him using credit card Paypal.
2) Get ALL of his info, full name, physical address, phone, fax, cell phone, email addresses, AIM/MSN, everything short of his shoe size.
3) Read the Paypal Buyer Protection policy and follow it.
