I have a 2005 mazda 3i w/190k miles.
altho theres nothing wrong with it now, I think I need to educate myself in buying a used car.
(small 4cylinder point A to point B car w/good gas milage.)
I have no idea how to buy used. I bought my mazda 3i new, haggled down to invoice price (not including rebates/incentives) thx to pricing data at Edmunds.com.
now used cars are a different story. I have no clue.
1) what else to look at besides Kelly blue book and local ads for general pricing in my area?
2) also, would a fixed price place like CarMax and Enterprise car sales be better?

ie: 2013 FORD Fusion SE Sedan 4D, 15k miles, $21.5k (used to be a rental car)
3) and lastly, I think the minimum car year I would buy is 2012.
that's the year electronic stability control (esc) became standard for all cars by law.
would you go as far as 2013 as the minimum because 2012 is v1.0 for ESC for some cars?
