Anyone know where i can get a SLK 900U for less than or around 35$? I have an ABIT NF7-S ver 2.0 and supposedly, the more common SLK 947U does NOT fit. This is according to the Thermalright Website.

Normally, I would go for the SLK 900A, but I am gonna move my computer around a lot, so I dont want to have to worry about removing the HS every time I go places. Also, I want to have the bolt-on design because im worried about the zif socket clips breaking upon repeated removal of said HS unit.

Thanks!

do both of these heatsinks require you to remove the motherboard to mount them? Or do they use the mounting bracket around the p4 socket

Try doing a search at PriceWatch.com, but I doubt that you will find one for $35. I just sold mine in the FS forum for $38 but that does not help you much. ;)
