Buying replacement battery for my 3G iPod...

Your terms are very, very broad. We're going to need some definers here - what's your budget, how much music do you hold, do you want extra features (video, built-in mic, subscription music, etc etc etc), do you want your player to be small, look good, or be functional, do you care much about your sound quality, and so on and on...

As of now, my recommendation would be to get a Creative Zen Vision:M.
 
One of my friends got $50 apple.com credit for some ipod battery class action suit, but can only use it on Apple brand stuff.
 
Hmm well basically online and on eBay the batteries seem to range between £5 and £20 and I'm just wondering if anyones had any bad experiences with cheap batteries off eBay or anything like that. Thing is I'm not totally convinced that expensive is going to necessarily mean better, when it appears to be exactlyt the same thing on offer. But then again I don't really know which is why I'm asking.
