I'm going to be buying some RAM for the system i'm builing, the motherboard is the Asus p4p800. I was looking to get some Corsair memory, from what i've read it seems to be the most stable and pretty fast. I was looking to get 512mb. I was wondering what you guys think a good stick of RAM is? I don't know if i'm going crazy hehe, but i think i remember reading something about these double data rate motherboards run better with 2 sticks of RAM as oposed to just one, maiking sure there is either 2 or 4 sticks of RAM in the system? Am i right hehe? Thanks.

Yes to run in Dual channel mode you need to have 2 identical (or same specs) sticks, but you can still use only 1 but you'll be running in slower single channel mode.

Is it true that the P4C800-E doesn't support anything higher than PC3200? I was hoping to throw in some PC3700 or PC4000 memory in there. Anyone know?

Abosutely not true. You can OC the snot out of it and run whatever RAM you want on it. PC3700, PC4000 are fine and the guys that are running 300+ FSBs will be able to use PC4200 whenever it comes out.
