I am thinking about buying their new 510 watt psu because my antec 480 does not have voltage pot adjustments
have any of you purchased a pc power and cooling psu before ??

i noticed their site says you can get additional features like added power on a particular rail
i would like to have them add a bit to the 3.3v rail
also i read a review on this psu and they said something about asking them for external rail adjustments

what do you all think ???

I just emailed them:

Hello I am interested in buying a custom version of your Turbo cool 510 deluxe but first I have a few questions.

what is the difference between atx version 1.2 and 1.3 ?
can i get the 510 with more amps on the 3.3v rail ?
how much does it cost to get more current on a particular rail ?
can I get external adjustable pots for this psu ?
I also live in san diego county so i might be able to drive over and pick up my purchase, can I do this ?

the first e-mail I sent yesterday morning hasn't been replyed to so I sent this one to their sales e-mail address

Totally off topic, but serves as a bump nonetheless. The link in your sig doesn't work, and for some reason I just have to see what that pic is!!! 🙂

I thought the purpose of adjustable pots was so you could add the extra power to the rail yourself. PC Power and Cooling PSUs are great, so I doubt you will have a problem either way.

sorry the link is down but my webserver is out of commision till i reinstall linux
also i though this was the place for psu questions

thanks and bump
