Looking for a BMW 528i ('98 or newer) or 525i (2001), but prices seem to range quite a bit. If i plan on keeping the vehicle for the life of the car, would it really matter if i were to purchase a used sub-30K mile 5-series and save a few bucks (perhaps up to $7000), or go with a new one?
one last tidbit, anyone with experience in car auctions, "official" ones by local counties? prices seem to be lowest there, but i'm worried about having to shell out $5000 for the transmission when i get the car home
