Buying new PC - which brand for Athlon64 SLI?

Hi AT members,

It's the end of the year and I'm getting a new home PC (through my job... Sys Admin perks) and am looking for a Athlon64 with Geforce 6800GT's in SLI. I haven't bought a pre-built PC from anybody other than the big 3 in a long time, so I don't know who is out there in the new "gamer PC" market besides the large overpriced Alienware types. I priced a system out at www.cyberpowersystems.com with the following:

Athlon64 3500+
2 x 6800GT's in SLI
1GB RAM
73GB Raptor
XP Pro
Audigy 2
3yr onsite warranty
etc.

The price was $2,617, and I'd like to keep the price in that general neighborhood so the CFO or auditors don't come sniffing to hard (the avg PC I buy for the office is ~$800).

Has anybody dealt with Cyber Power (I have to check reseller ratings) or have a recommendation for another place with similar prices. Two requirements are that they offer non Alienware looking cases (not plain beige, but not totally pimped/geeked out) and the name of the company isn't something like "Ultra Gaming PC's" (again, trying to keep this on the DL).

Thanks all,
Lifted

Left out one little detail...

I have to purchase this system tomorrow, 12/1, so if you have any ideas I need them ASAP.

Thanks again,

as i see it, www.cyberpowersystems.com is ur only option rigth now, i dont know how are u going to make enougth airflow with a discrete and quiet case because ur 6800s generate a good amount of heat so you need a decent cooling solution, the systems listed there are pimp out so they may not help u, its a little late so cyber.... are the only ones able to save ur gaming pc

Hi Lifted and Welcome to the Forums!

Yeah, I've dealt with Cyberpower and was satisfied. I know it's late, but have you checked Dell? IIRC, they are getting in to the high-end gaming PC market.
