Hey all!

I am buying a new pc at the end of the month. This is the current setup. (dutch site)

I had a few questions:

* Is this PSU an overkill for this system? Keep in mind that I will overclock and that i might add another card for SLI or Xfire.

* My main questions is actually what card that i should take? I wanna play at 1080p. I play a lot of MMO's, like WoW and strategy games. And BF3 and COD. I wanna try out some of the newer games as well.
** Would this card be good enough?
** Should I go for GTX 560 ti or the 6950?
** Does this XFX card have a bios switch so it is capable of OC'ing to the 6970 standard? If not, are there any good alternatives?

*Would you change anything to this setup? I want the pc to be future proof with enough room for upgrading it in the future?

Thx a lot in advance and sorry for the bad english :)

Greetings Benhime

If you plan to overclock AND add another graphics card in for SLI/crossfire in the future, then no it's not overkill. I don't know which hd6950's can still be unlocked - but insofar as the gtx560ti vs. hd6950 debate goes - get the one you think gives you the best value. The hd6950 2 gig is going to be marginally faster (avg. 3-5% across a wide range of games), but usually costs $10-20 more. Some AMD cards get you Deus Ex: Human Revolution for free, while Nvidia cards get you Batman: Arkham City for free. There is also the intangible, if only occasional, physx acceleration with Nvidia cards.

I personally like Nvidia's drivers better. They seem to have less game-breaking issues with new releases. But you really can't go wrong with either card.

Ive been reading around and I might wait a while to get a second card. Maybe I'll even stay with a single card and just keep upgrading them. Would 650w be enough? With overclocking? I do have a lot of HDD's. (Think about 5). Or would it be safer to go for the 750w?

Thanks for the reply btw!
