IBM vs. Dell vs. anyone else. I will be doing some programming web design, photo editing..basically everything exceptgaming and video editing. I am looking for a really good, larger screen laptop. any opinions?>
IBM is highly recommended by a lot of people on here but I have found Dell to be reliable also. If you want excellent technical support though you should go with IBM as Dell has fallen in this area.
Definately IBM. In my 17 yrs of IT work I have seen a low failure rate on IBMs. Most of the failures are from Compaq, Sony and especially compaq. And don't even get me started on Dell and Toshiba. They are just outright CRAP.
