buying my first Cell Phone HELP :O

hey guys and gals,
i'm buying my first official cell phone. I've looked at a plan w/ at&t and they will give me 250 min. free nights and weekends and cover most of texas (which is where i live) and include a free nokia 3360 phone all for $30.00 a month

i can increase the minutes to 600 for ten bucks more.

is this a good deal and are there equal or better deals?

250 is really nothing. Not that I'd ever use it up, but yeah..I get unlimited non-peak minutes.

First ask around your friends, family, and co-workers which cell phone provider do they have, are they happy with them, complaints, etc.?

Then look for a good deal with that cell phone provider.
