buying movies from netflix

has anyone bought a movie from netflix?

prices are pretty decent for used movies at $5.99. i'm assuming its just movies they pulled out of circulation, right?

i've been with netflix for about 2-3 months now and i've only had one disc that had problems and it only near the end of the movie.

just wondering if i should go with or just buy new? or even used from somewhere else like off ebay?

I think after you factor in the S&H (free w/Netflix), you'd be hard pressed to find a vendor with that selection of used DVDs. I've never bought from them, so I can't attest to the quality; but out of 5 months of moderate rental usage, we've only had to return 1 DVD that was unreadable.

do you get the case and any extra discs also or just the discs and thats it?

It says it "includes dvd cover case" so I'm inclined to think you get more than just the disk 🙂

I quickly added a single title to my cart - it says "Original Cover Artwork with Hardcover Case & DVD". I'm not sure if that's true for all titles.

Do they offer a 30 day guarantee?

Dont do it. Most of the movies are scratched to all hades. Not worth it.

dvd is becoming obsolete, so yes, best not to spend more than 5bucks or so on a film
