Which is a reliable site that has the real double sided quality movie posters? I keep seeing ads for Allposters.com, so I went to Resellerratings.com but even though allposters.com is a "sponsered" link, they don't have many ratings. Any suggestions on a site to goto?

I bought a couple of posters from Art.com they were double sided and were good quality even though they're reprints. What poster are you looking for I might be able to get you the real posters.

In perticular I was looking for the Cowboy Bebop movie posters. All the real ones at the theatre in Berkeley were yanked by employee's there *so* quickly, and they were going on ebay for 40+ish. Now the prices on ebay are the prices like the one on allposters.com. I have an original one from Japan, but I liked the American release poster as well.

Ah i see, well i have some friends from my old jobs and I usually can get movie posters from them but I don't think Cowboy bebop played at that theater so can't help ya out. I do however have like 10 Italian Job posters they gave me.

Bah, thanks anyway. Does the one at Allposters.com look legit, or the one at art.com? I'd like an studio-original if possible, and not a reprint.

doubt you'll get an original from either Art or allposters. Most people get the originals by stealing them or a theater gives them away.

On the same note, in terms of framing, what's the best way to go? I would like to get a Top Gun movie poster and have it framed, but the poster frames from K-Mart look really cheap. Is there any alternative to paying >$50 for a professionally framed $16 poster? Are there 'DIY' frame kits that look good?

Allposters.com is good, I'm a former customer.

They won't be originals, but they're a reasonable copy. I have a giant Matrix poster I got there, I've had it since the movie first came out and it looks great after all this time.

As far as framing, I have no idea. It probably won't be cheap, that's a ton of glass/plexiglass. You could do it yourself if you had a wood shop, I've framed some art prints myself and it's usually not too bad.

I ended up ordering the Art.Com one, because it said "Movie-Original"... we'll see. I found a coupon that almost paid for all of the shipping, so if I'm not happy with it I can just return it for a buck fifty. Hopefully it's what I want, if not I'll order the reprint and just hang it far away.
