Buying LCD from Newegg

I want to get the Samsung A550 from Fry's. They have have it for $649. But of course they are out of stock at every location by me and wouldn't have any new ones in until the end of Feb. Newegg has it for about $100 more, which I can live with. I really like Frys return policy, but am unsure of neweggs. I buy tons of computer stuff from them but never an LCD. Has anyone ever had any problems buying an LCD from Newegg? I know the shipping is free, but if something goes wrong and I have to replace it, I'm assuming I will have to pick up the shipping costs which would be alot. Is it safe to buy from newegg or is it too much of a hassle?

I wouldn't order a TV or monitor from Newegg because of their 8-dead-pixel policy. I'd order it from Amazon for $745 shipped. Is there a reason you're buying a 32" (maybe to use it as a computer monitor or because you'll be sitting 3-4 feet from the TV)? For around that price you can get a 42". Newegg recently had this TV for $749 shipped. The difference in size from 32" to 42" might seem small, because "it's only 10 inches." However, the increase is not linear, and a 42" is 72% larger than a 32". Here's a good TV calculator that'll let you see the difference in size between different TVs.

Ditto, I think the egg's return policy on LCDs sucks.

How is Amazons return policy? And its because my entertainment center will only take a 32 inch LCD that's why

I'll probably wait till Frys has them back in stock. They told me by Feb 10th they should have them...

Does Best Buy Price match if an item is not in stock at a competing store? Frys has the samsung for $649 BB is $849. BB has it in stock frys doesn't will they still price match?

Depends on the CSR you get. Technically they are suppose to be in stock, but then I've never had a single one of them call when I have brought a current ad as proof.

If you just go in and tell them "Hey Fry's has this for...." Well, then they will pick up the phone and call.

Ok ended up getting the Samsung LN40A550 I went the 40 inch route for $150 more. I got it at amazon shipped for $900. The 32 inch would have been about $750 with tax so the difference which that bad. I get it friday, so I'm either calling in sick to work or going to ask for a personal day. I was surprised that directv is coming out tomorrow on sunday to install my new HD dish and my new HD DVR. I didn't think they worked on sunday
