its this one

http://www.newegg.com/app/View...tory=BROWSE&depa=1

it has a 5$ shipping special today.....i read every review on it and everyone has been great......ive had my eye on this monitor for quite some time now but im afraid of dead pixels ......i dont know if i could live with them even a single one... I was suppose to get one from circuit city yesterday but when i went they were sold out, the only reason i was gonna get i from there so if it had dead pixels i could return it .....

What do you guys think , should i get this over with and take a chance and buy this one .....

Would you recomend another one for for around the same price ? dont care if its 20 or 30 $ more .... i dont want to spend more then 300 and it has to be black .

Dead pixels is overrated. I've bought LCD from Apple Cinema, NEC, Viewsonic, Sony, to Samsung , and haven't seen a single dead pixel (knock on wood). Buy it now. DVI is not that big a deal really, you got a hell of a deal there.

You don't need dvi for your lcd to look good. I don't have it for my samsung 15". I don't believe that it is a necessity. I have a video card that allows it though. My monitor is also 16ms response time. Works great for games such as hl2. Just make sure to buy one with fast response time. The one you have on link looks good. I woudn't really worry about dead pixels. I see what you are saying though.
