Buying items sealed in plastic cases

Could they possibly make these things any more annoying to open? You practically need a hacksaw to open the damn thing (Xbox 360 Plug/Play Kit in this example).

My favorite is when you cut the thing w/ scissors and then slice you hand open because for some reason the plastic turns into a stabbing utensil once it has been opened.

Everybody hates that ******. Difficult to open, sharp edges, and you end up with a unusable package.

it's probably very environmentally-unfriendly also

It's the worst when they do it with CPUs. You're trying to open the thing carefully, and all of the sudden it pops open and the CPU goes flying a few feet.

hahahah had that happen once. i thought for sure my cpu was dead.

Same here, but luckily a few minutes of time under a microscope with a pair of tweezers fixed that problem.

I'm surprised there haven't been lawsuits with blisterpacks. No matter how careful, I always get a touch injured opening them.
