Yes, it's yet another..."Which 9800Pro should I get?" thread.

But I'm making this one simple and direct. Which one:

Newegg Sapphire Radeon 9800Pro (bulk)-$207

Newegg ATI Radeon 9800Pro (Bulk)-$210

Basically, all I'm asking is there enough of a difference between these cards to warrant the extra $3? Any reason at all I shouldn't just get the Sapphire? Or is there a hidden advantage to genuine ATI?

Oh, and as kind of an afterthought...would it be worth the extra $$$ for the retail versions? I've never bought OEM for vid cards before, so what's your opinion?

Thanks so much! Sorry to waste your time but $210 is alot of money to me. Appreciate the help!

Both of them show Sapphire pictures though. Very confusing. Get whichever one you want, 3 doesn't make a difference IMO.

Get the $210 one, that one looks like it's built on the XT PCB and will probably have a R360 GPU. Well, unless it's a wrong picture.

PS: according to the description, both are made by Sapphire.

yeah...that's what the pic shows...and i think a couple of the customer reviews say they're 360's with the good ram

If you can afford it get the 9800 pro from the brand (High Tech). It has a huge heatsink and fan on it. Otherwise get the ati brand.

I have a r360 core and I can't seem to see any benefit of having it over the r350, except to brag on forums that my card came with the r360 core.
