Buying HL2 used

Is it possible to buy HL2 used from someone who's already registered on Steam? What's the process involved in buying a used version of HL2.
 
It's against the TOS of Steam, but I would think it'd just basically take someone giving you their username and password.
 
Just make sure you have the login and password. After you're in the account you can change the password on it, and it's all yours.
 
Retail is always bronze. I believe CE is equivalent of silver, but that'll cost you more too. And you gotta find one, not sure the availability of those.
 
After I watched the guy beat it in 2.5 hours, I didn't have any desire to play it anymore 😉
Maybe in the future when it's $5 to play some good mods (assuming there will be any 😉 )

There will be a LOT of good mods, many have screenshots and even traillers coming out now. And the guy who beat it in 2.5 hours cheated. It will take you a LOT longer to beat it.
