I have graphics card (MSI),NVIDIA GF6 (PCI-E), NX6800GT-T2D256E

I need your view about upgrading this card should I buy two 7900GT or one 7900GTX. Also my friend told me that new Graphics card will be releasing in a month so wait for a month or not? or wait for six month till Windows Vista is launched?

nothing revolutionary is gonna release until dx10 comes out so waiting would be pretty pointless if u really think ur 6800gt is not gonna last u for about 6 mths. As far as upgrade path the 7900gtx is gonna be hella fast and probably will work better being that not all games are gonna support SLI. If ya have the money tho the dual 7900gt's are gonna kick some serious ass and have u playin everything at eye candy + high res at LEAST until dx10 comes out (specially if ya volt mod em). U might wanna also consider the x1900xt as SUPPOSEDLY it is more future proof as game designers are moving to shader driven graphics (the x1900xt has 48 shaders). read some reviews and make ur choice tho, dont rush no matter what, rushing will just leave u unhappy when ur "leet" rig wont run the newest games at anything over a slide show framerate.

Assuming your cpu is at least 3000+ A64 or P4, 7900GT EVGA ko for $289 or X1800XT 512mb are very good cards. Pick based on the games you play.
