Letting Us Know Your Order Is a Gift

For every order you place with Amazon.com, you can tell us that the order is a gift by checking the box next to the line that reads "Add gift-wrap/note" in the blue Ready to Buy? box. (If the item can't be wrapped, the line will simply read "Add gift note.") You can find this check box on an item's product information page, in the Shopping Cart, or on the Shopping Cart recommendations page. Please note that the box will appear only if your 1-Click® settings are turned on. Please also note that you are unable to indicate whether an item purchased from an Auctions, Marketplace, or zShops seller is a gift.

If you check the box, you will be given the opportunity to have us wrap your gift or to add a gift note. However, even if you don't want to wrap your gift or add a note, you might still want to check the box to let us know your order is a gift. Here's why:

We won't include the price of the items on the packing slip included with the order.
We will ignore items you order as gifts when recommending items to you based upon your past purchases.
If the recipient needs to return an item, we will send him or her a gift certificate for the amount of the return.
If you're purchasing an item from a registry, we'll indicate that the item has already been purchased so the recipient doesn't receive a duplicate gift from someone else.
If you're ordering a magazine subscription as a gift, a post card announcing your gift subscription will be sent to the recipient within approximately three weeks of your order. Your name and the title of the magazine will be included on the post card.

makes no mention of what you're talking about.. so they probably will know who sent it. id give them a call to see if something can be arranged though. worth a shot. 🙂

Hmm... I think it would probably still say who it's from... most places just put a special receipt that doesn't have prices on it in the box.
Why would you want to do this anyway? You stalking a girl or sending an old roomate a bulging beauties calendar? 😉

Dont think anywhere will do this directly from them. Perhaps you can receive it and send it out from another town ?
