Buying from 5 different places

This is my first computer build, and also the first time I've ordered components from several different places at once. Someone recommended it to me earlier because of how much I could save. Doing the calculations, my savings came out to a whopping $165 because of shopping in several places. Here are my locales, in order of the amount of money being spent in each.

- Newegg
- Monarch Computers
- Tigerdirect
- Techonweb.com
- Sidewinder Computers

Do any of these retailers put up a red flag with you guys? I know Newegg is by far one of the best online retailers out there, and I trust Tigerdirect as well. The last three are unknown to me, so if someone could help me out with service/shipping and the like, it would be much appreciated. 🙂

Heh. Their return policy sucks, their rebates suck. If your case comes in damaged you're screwed 😛

i use the local ncix stores and their deals are ok when on sale and very expensive when it is not

Don't worry about sidewinder, like I said to you before, they are awesome. They may look low grade but thats just because they don't waste money on a flashy web site.

Do they deliver to Canada? (If so, is it with an absurd shipping cost?)

Yes, I believe they do ship to Canada. However, I doubt it falls under the free second day shipping.

I don't want to repeat myself but if you are in Canada, avoid Tiger Direct and stick with NCIX.
