I'm going to buy a Dell 2407FPW monitor soon and while searching the net I found one here for 100 bucks cheap than if I went directly to Dell.

What's the general take on buying Dell stuff from a third party?

$655 landed for the 24" widescreen with a 5 year warranty is a little hard to pass up.

If you do, make sure you get a Receipt ... also if you can, run the product serial number
by the folks at Dell .. it may be stolen. And ask if the seller is a Authorized Reseller / Vendor.
If it is a used product, ask for proof of purchase so that you can transfer the Warranty if
any time remains on it.

I just saw this on the company's site "CompuDirect has no affiliation or partnership with Dell. "

They are not authroized.
