There's a concert here locally that I need to get a couple tickets to and there are no good seats left for sale at the venue. Soooo I turn to the scalpers.

I've checked several different sites online (stubhub, ticketstub, seatbot etc.) and they all seem to have the same, or similar tickets for sale, for similar prices + shipping. However, there is a local ticket scalping site (ticketkingonline) with a walk up box office that claims to have the same tickets available with free pick up. Am i missing something here? These are tickets printed by the venue, not available through ticketmaster. How can all of these places claim to have the same tickets?

Any thoughts? Any advice on getting 'hard to get' tickets?

Thanks

LOL

I HATE those sites. It's like organized crime. They have people that buy the first rows of tickets (I think they may even have agreements with Ticketmasker on the downlow) and then sell them for 3-5-10-40--even 50 times what they are supposed to sell for. People do not have a chance, and this is why a lot of bands despise online ticket sales.

Ticket-basterd doesn't have any tickets, these were sold only at the venue (as far as I know). It's my own fault for not trying to buy the tickets until they'd already been on sale for a month and a half, but I hadn't planned on being able to go until recently.

Not anything good on Ebay or Craigslist at the moment, so it's either: 1.) Wait to see what becomes available 2.) Get raped by a scalper 3.) Live with crappy seats.

I bought a pair of crappy tickets in case all else fails and I plan on seeing what's available as the show approaches . . . it's still a month till showtime.
