Im buying alot of computer components from China and bringing them over to the US (mainly because a great deal of stuff is cheaper in China). My question is, I know China uses a 220v setting and the USA uses 110v, as long as my power supply is set to 110v, shouldnt i be able to use the components i purchase in china, in the usa?
Thanks for any input

No problems with that. If you buy CRT monitors though, the picure quality might be worse at your home than in the country of origin
(the magnetic field is different and factory tunes the monitor for the local enviroment)

The internal components do not work on line voltages (220 or 110v) - they are fed much lower voltages by your PSU (ranging between 3v -12v). As long as the PSU you buy abroad has a switch 110V - 220V you should be ok.

also, it's a possiblily that you'll need to be able to read Chineese, why? BIOS's will not be in english, also possible that you might have to use matching language driver/utils (this is just a guess).

Just a word of caution, I'm really uncertain of what might happen.

good luck!
