Trying to get Mueller's PC 16th edition. In-store is $60. Online it's $42 with free shipping. Seems a no brainer, but why such discrepancy? Do they want to close their stores?

You pay more for instant gratification, maybe? Free shipping usually takes several weeks for the item to reach you.

Bookpool's prices are often better than Amazon or B&N, thuough sometimes the discount is so large that you can't get free shipping on a single book order.
