Would really appreciate help on this. Trying to choose between one of these two following monitors:

Acer AL2223Wd at Newegg

and at amazon

CHIMEI 221D-NBC at newegg

I've been researching monitors for a week now but somehow these two didn't pop out until today, now i gotta cram knowledge into my brain about each monitor. Both about the same price, both have real good reviews. The CHIMEI is a 6bit panel, not sure about the acer. Not sure if either comes with a warranty. Not sure which one is better :p - I'm a big gamer if it matters. I want no ghosting and little to no backlight bleed.

I ended up getting the ChiMei because it has all the same specs/packaging, it's cheaper, it has better reviews, and I like the black color better.

Anyways, thanks for nothing, Losers!...Just kidding, just kidding, really :p - I didn't expect many replies in such a short period of time but I thought I'd give it a shot.

Well, I was busy.:p

I am starting to look for a LCD monitor myself. Don't want to wait for my Samsung 900NF to croak. I should buy something during the next couple of months depending on my tax return.

I have the chimei, I like it. Big and bright. The viewing angles aren't that great, but you're usually gonna use it when seated directly in front, so not that big of a deal.

Yeah I still like the Chimei. Viewing angles are kinda bad, especially for a sloucher like me :p - It seems like some colors have started to flicker already, don't notice it too often, but here and there. I haven't had an major problems with it yet though. Too bad the warranty kinda sucks. You'll probably be able to get the Chimei for a real good price, but if you can get a nice warranty on something similiar for around the same price, you might consider that also.
