Trying to relive my late teen years in which I knew how to program the amiga 500.

Did you know the c-64 and Amiga were the only hardware choices for the NASA space shuttle program?

Because the hardware was open source and you could program the heck out of it for anything you needed. It was the cheapest to support in the industry as well.

There is a youtube video out there with the NASA engineers gloating over the hardware.

Loved mine, multi tasking when nobody did it but the $4000 + guys. I remember just being so shocked i could download and game at the same time. Great machine, and still has some games that can hold up quite well. I had a A500 with a GVP add on HD (40 gigs!!!!!!, 2 extra megs of ram) and a 030 add on board to speed it up when i was all done. As i own my 500 i went the more questionable route and grabbed a torrent all set up, unzip and go. I do hear the latest Amiga emulation packages are quite good.

Trovak, Walker, Apidiya, Gods, Turrrican, and pretty much any Bullfrog, Bitbrothers, Team 17 game.. dang I may need to get in a game of Walker tonight.

I do that all the time, would think I would learn, guess its true, you cant teach on an old dog new tricks. I'm a bit shocked that old drive still works, or did last time I fired it up which was, err maybe a couple of years ago.
