Buying AGP card this weekend...but?

Okay. My bonus is finally coming tomorrow so the first thing I'm going to do is buy a new card. Both Monarch and Microcenter are close by. Need some final opinions on what to buy.

XFX 6600GT $146 @ Monarch
EVGA 6600GT $140 @ Monarch
EVGA 6800GS $224 @ Monarch
ATI X800XL $240 @ Microcenter
ATI X850PRO $224 @ Microcenter
ATI X850XT $250 @ Microcenter

I've been aiming to stay under $200, but might could be coerced to jump up a little if the value is really there. Is the performance of the 6800GS worth $85 more than the 6600GT? If just marginal, I'll probably stick with the GT.

Haven't found any peroformance scores of the X850PRO anywhere so can't determine how it would stack up against the 6800GS.

I'd appreciate any input.

That is the best AGP deal going, they are still filling orders correct?

Next would be the BFG 6800GS OC for $200 shipped all 16 pipes, don't know if that extra VS is there or not though? If so, or it is functional when unmasked, then you get a BFG 6800GT OC for 2 bills. I had that card and it did just past ultra speeds on stock cooling.
 
Thanks DAPUNISHER, looks like a great buy. Should last me til the end of the year, then dual-core pci-e upgrade.

I think he's going to hit the brick and mortar store, so that shouldn't be an issue provided that they have them in stock. BTW... chollyred: I don't think Monarch's retail store is open on Sat anymore.

Hmmm, refreshing that link now the BFG 6800GS shows 12 pipes instead of the earlier 16. Darn, that would have been sweet. Still really good card and deal though.
 
That Microcenter deal is a ghost. Everyone is on backorder including... me. At least on the internet orders.

I saw a x850XT AGP just yesterday at CompUSA at a nice bargain price: $499! Whoohoo! I should have jumped all over that LOL!!!
