Looking for a new laptop, mostly considering business lines such as Latitudes, Thinkpad T, Elitebook etc. I would consider workstation models or something like the XPS 15, too.

I'm doing some number-crunching stuff and want a Skylake quad core CPU. However, with my intented usage (no gaming or such), I don't require a dGPU.

Other requirements are more or less ordinary: 14-15 inch screen, a matte IPS panel is preferred, 1920x1080 non-touch is fine. Build quality and keyboard should be decent. A plus would be if I could fit two SSDs (one M.2, one 2.5 inch) but it's not strictly required. Must be a Windows machine.

In summary, I guess what's somewhat unusual is that I'm looking for a fast CPU but am fine with an IGP/no dGPU required.

Any suggestions?

That's easy, the Dell Lattitude 14 7000, I have one and they're very nice with some security.

(ones listed are still Haswell but there are Skylake versions too)
Thanks for taking the time to reply. But as far as I can tell, those are Ultrabooks with ix-5xxxU/6xxxU CPU. No quads available.

Yeah those are the ones I can find but I came across about a month ago that there will be i5 6300HQ and i7 6700HQ versions. Perhaps they were the Inspiron version.

Just in case anybody has requirements similar to mine: It looks as if the new Latitude models such as the Latitude 5470 might fit the bill.

If this is still relevant, I think that the T460p which should be releasing by the end of the month (announced at CES), is exactly what you need.

The only downside (IMO) is a lack of TB3/USB type-c.
