Hey guys, I would just like personal recommendations!

I'm looking for an 9800. I'm willing to spend from 190-240 $ kind of deal. I don't know anything about video cards, or computers either lol :)

Thanks in advance crew

Is that a really good card or something? I'd be willing to spend that extra money if the card was really worth it.

Thanks for feedback.

benchmarks

the 9800pro will be just a few frames behind the 9800XT in the benchies, that should give you an idea of how the 9800pro stacks up against the 6800

The card Nick linked to would pretty easily beat a 9800 Pro in just about any game\benchmark you can find. I would spend the extra money, and in fact I did.

"the 9800pro will be just a few frames behind the 9800XT in the benchies"

frames = AKA Frames Per Second, It's a measurement term used to determine performance and it's also how many pictures are displayed every second on your PC screen.

benchies = Nick's way of saying benchmark but since he's too lazy to type the whole entire word... or something.

P.S. :D i kid, i kid...

From what I understand, the card posted on the link is obviously superior to this...

http://www.newegg.com/app/View...=14-102-286&depa=0

I think the point you guys are missing is that the card posted is about 50 more dollars. I'm not made of money, and I was wondering if the gap between the card posted in my link, for example, is better than the one posted by nick1985.

I KNOW that the card posted by nick is better and has better scores or whatever.
