Buying a used car...

So I'm in the market for a used car, preferably something relatively gas efficient...

so far i've been looking at a 98-00 honda accord, but i want to see what other good options ATOT has to share.

the budget is 7000-10000

Civic, Accord, Camry, Corolla, etc depends on if you're looking for newer or older, big sedan or smaller one, etc.

What type of car you looking for? I love my Maxima...a 2000 Maxima would be a nice car - reliable and they have plenty of power when you need it.

But yeah I'd say Accord, Civic, Corolla, Camry, Maxima, Sentra.

I got my 97 Accord EX V6 last January for like $8k. Very nice car for the money, and it's only got ~68k on it so it should last forever 🙂

I like the older body styles (96-97) much better than the next revision (98-99), but YMMV.

Actually, I was looking today for a 98 civic. I'd recommend either a civic or an accord. Using http://www.fueleconomy.gov/mpg/MPG.do?a...n=mpgData&vehicleID=14315&browser=true (98 accord) to check gas mileage shows for $7900 its a great bet. i'd definitly go with either an accord or a civic (both used) because im working with the same budget and the gas mileage simply can't be beat. almost 40mpg ... 😱
