Long story short I bought a 43 inch Samsung plasma fn43f4500 tv from hhgregg for $404 out the door.
720p 43inch plasma, its in the basement, one window in the room and I can't move the tv so I've got a good amount of glare. When I game on it the tv looks great hooked up to my ps3, but blu ray movies don't look good on it. I know the picture is going from 1080p to 1024x768 and it looks like ass. I sit 6 feet away from the tv and it doesn't look good.
I'm in the return period still and if I return it they will give me $250 cash and have to mail me a check for the balance of $154 which takes 7-10 business days or I can exchange it for something else in store and cover the difference. Right now I can add about $150 max bringing it to $554 out the door.
I definitely need 1080p and id like to stay around the same screen size if possible. Can anyone suggest a good tv from their site? If im better off returning it and waiting to get the check in the mail I can do that and use my old 32 inch lcd for the time being.
I just need some help, this is the first tv I've bought in 7 years so I'm definitely out of the loop. I don't care if it is lcd led plasma whatever as long as it is 1080p and good for what I intend to use it for which is Netflix, blu rays, ps3 gaming.
