Buying a refubished motherboard a bad idea?

I'm thinking about putting my p4 from my dell into this motherboard till i upgrade (4-6 monthes)to a C2D/mobo. so i'm wondering if this motherboard will last. anyone have any experience with this?

I've purchased maybe a dozen refurb motherboards from New Egg in the last 5 years. One was DOA and I had to RMA it for an exchange, otherwise they have all been great. All accessories were included in the original packaging and they all worked fine. You are not necessarily guaranteed to get all of the miscellaneous items that might be otherwise included if you had purchased new retail, so your experience may differ.

Hope you have another case for the asus board. Also, if using the Dell hardrive, be sure the operating system with it isn't for Dell only boards. Some versions of windows sold by Dell require a Dell bios to work.
