Buying a PS3 bundle

Finally decided on a PS4 MGS4 bundle on june 12th..now here is what i need from you guys in terms of advice...

I usually have friends over to play 4 player multiplay...like halo 3 etc.. what are say 2 must have games for the ps3 that are split screen/multiplayer

Also I plan on getting a twisted medal from ps1 or ps2, which one do you recommend?

Tell me about it..but I need to focus on my school/teaching anyways right now..plus mustering up the cash anyways.

So after looking over things I think with that bundle I'm going to buy Warhawk/resistance to go with my bundle..

What about a twisted metal? I've played the original but is there like a ultimate version? That includes 4 play splitscreen?

Well, I'm gonna wait till June 12th for the MGS4 bundle as well. Gonna pickup GTA4 and GT5P to go along w/ the bundle. I can wait.

Resistance has 2 player local co-op. Resistance 2, due out this fall, is going to have 8 player co-op. Warhawk is an online game, but it has 4-player local co-op in which you can all play together online. Haze, due out next month, is supposed to have 4-player co-op. You may also want to consider Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds. It's a great golf game that has 4 player local multiplayer as well as online play.

As for Twisted Metal, I'd recommend Twisted Metal Black (PS2). It has 2-player co-op and 4-player local deathmatch. A new Twisted Metal has been confirmed to be in development for PS3, but nothing it really known about it beyond that. So it's probably a long way from release yet.

 
Another good multiplayer game is Calling All Cars on PSN for around $10. Great with buddies mixed with some alcohol.
 
GTA4?

Calling All Cars is a great party game. That's the kind of game that is really fun to play with friends. It's easy to learn and it's fun.

I absolutely love Warhawk. Also, GTAIV is coming out tomorrow, so that's something to consider, too.
