I got my Samsung DLP this way, and opted to spend the $150 on an extended warranty because of it. It will be 3yo in 2 months. No problems so far. I just check to post the site, and it looks like they went under.

I got ou Samsung 52" A630 from Outpost.com / Fry's, no trouble at all with delivery and no trouble thus far (knock on wood) with the TV itself. I don't recall them offering an extended warranty, though, so obviously I don't have one
