Buying a new WQHD Monitor

Hi,

I plan on buying a new WQHD Monitor (2560x1440). I mostly work using Remote Desktop, i.e. a connect to a remote PC in a different country.
Of course there is a lag working that way, currently I work in 1920x1080, as the content needs to be transferred to my local PC in order to be displayed.
I want to somehow test how much this lag will be increased when I switch to 2560x1440 as there are like 70% more pixels to transfer.

Is there anyway to simulate this higher resolution and check the lag my self?

Thx

Look up the response time for the monitor. Compare it to similar monitors. Most 1440p are IPS. They'd have a 5 or 6ms response time.
