ok, I'm not much of a hardware enthusiast, and I havent really been following the reviews/rave about the new video cards (geforce, nforce, etc...) because of my old on-board video card. Since i just sold my mobo+cpu, I'm looking to buy a new mobo+cpu+video card. I have been looking around at the fry;s paper, and I have no idea on which on to buy.. What do you guys think is a good video card that is probably available at frys? or if there is a really good deal on a good video card somewhere.. I'm looking one to buy for a hardcore (or semi-hardcore) gaming :D .. thnx!

my price range can go up to $200(if really good deal)
Mostly for hardcore(mayebe semi-hardcore) gaming (i wanna play spiderman the movie: the game dammit :p)

The TI200 seems to be a good choice but you should also look for a Radeon 8500 64 megs retail which is pretty good too.

Depending on how long you are willing to wait, the GF4 Ti4200 should be out in a while, 1 month?

If possible I would really go for the GF3 Ti200 or better, ATI 8500, not GF2's

Right now, Radeon 8500, However, if you can wait, a GeForce4 Ti 4200 will perfrom 15-20% better. They should be out mid-May.

The GTS-V is a good choice if you're downright poor. I can relate to that. It's still almost twice the speed of a typical Geforce2 MX or MX-400 card. That's not bad, but if you're going for the whole enchilada, you might just want to aim a bit higher and not upgrade for another year or two.

If you're not in a terrible rush, there's some integrated video solutions from nVidia (a faster nForce) and much cheaper but supposedly much faster than previous SiS integrated setup. I'm eyeballing SiS myself... when I put together a new system for myself I'll do it with the SiS and its integrated graphics at GF2-pro-or-faster speed. Should be nice and cheap, too. ;)
But it's currently vapourware and if you need it NOW that won't help you. ;)
