Buying a new mobo, need some help.

I am looking to buy a Slot 1 P III motherboard. I was wondering what everyone's thought were as to which to look at. I would like to keep it under $ 100 and have it handle a wide range of cpu speeds. I was looking at the Asus P3V4X, any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

You'll notice that all the boards recommended are for FC-PGA Socket 370 boards. This is because they are cheaper to manufacture. You might want to consider that option.

If cost is a concern I would go with Socket370, unless you already have a slot1 PIII CPU.

I recently purchased and Asus CUBX and matched it up with a PIII 700E. The CUBX runs about $120 and is simply the finest BX board I have ever used. Well built and runs rock solid.
