Hi Guys

I will be upgrading my motherboard in 2 weeks time. I need something solid for my Q6600 and fiture core 2 chips.

I have a budget of £75 (ish) and I will be buying from www.overclockers.co.uk

I have a few options I am looking at ;

1. Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3 Intel P45 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard £82.24 inc VAT

2. Asus P5Q Intel P45 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard - £82.24 inc VAT

3. DFI Lan Party DK X38-T2R Intel X38 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard -£111.61 inc VAT

Quick question to, there's no chance if I get a S775 heatsink that it won't it with any of these boards? Noob I know.

My P5Q-E runs just great except for temperature and fan speed recording. CPU and motherboard temps can be reported as high as 254 degrees (C) and on occassion the motherboard stops reporting chasis fan speeds. Doesn't affect performance as such as what is being reported is bogus but it is a major annoyance. Don't know if a bios update will ever fix it either.
