I need a new desktop for my business. I dont want to lug around my gaming desktop every day. So I was looking online and found the Dell Optiplex 3020 Small Form Case for $620. It has an Intel Core i3-4130, 4GB of DDR3-1600, 500GB 7200RPM HDD, Windows 7 Pro, Dell MS111 Mouse, and Dell KB212-B Quiet Keyboard. For an extra $200, it comes with a Dell P2214H with 1920 x 1080p resolution. I dont trust the reviews because not all reviews are helpful: sometimes it is just employees and family members being paid to write good things about it . So, is it good?

We buy optiplex for our users (with a couple Vostros thrown in there), that and latitudes for laptops. Dells business support is second to none and the machines are well built and last forever. After this last deployment I don't anticipate needing any new machines for another 5 years at the earliest. The last ones lasted around 6-8 before the new rollout was complete. Everything is off of XP as of fall last year and everyone is running Sandy Bridge, Ivy or Haswell. (Replacing Pentium D's and and a lot of P4s)

They are a bit more expensive then your average consumer grade machines or one you can build yourself, but with the support and the build quality, the cost is worth it in my opinion. We have our own personal support rep we can call whenever we need something we can't fix ourselves.
